This is a classic Italian style loaf of generous proportions. Our most popular loaf is a great tasting, rustic and nourishing bread.

Years of experience have enabled us to produce a true sourdough of a much lighter style then most. This is a full flavoured family loaf enhanced by slow fermentation and the addition of some stoneground wholegrain flour. Baked on the stone hearth, this loaf has a delectable moist crumb and tasty caramelised crust.

The Macro Southern Casalinga has parallel sides and blunt ends giving it a high yield and consistency of slice size. A great value, general-purpose, foodservice loaf.

 

Ingredients:
  • Certified Organic & Biodynamic flours (white wheat, stoneground sifted wheat, wholewheat)
  • Twice filtered 'Grander' water
  • Certified Organic sourdough culture
  • Natural sea salt
  • Natural vitamin C
